Advancing Sight Network seeks a detail-oriented individual interested in making a life-changing difference in the lives of others. The schedule for the employee in this position will primarily be nights and some weekends.

A Recovery Technician at Advancing Sight Network is an integral part of our work to restore sight and is responsible for the surgical recovery of safe and viable eye tissue to be used in transplants, research, and education.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Surgical recovery of transplant and research donor tissue.
- Review of donor medical charts.
- Packaging and shipping eye tissue.
- Performing minimal laboratory duties as necessary.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional with these qualifications:

- Prior medical experience or life sciences education is preferred.
- Ability to interface with peers and hospital personnel.
- Ability to work on-call shifts during holidays, weekends, and nights.
- A valid driver’s license.
