Available Tissue Types

Committed to Unmatched Quality.

All ocular tissues are recovered and processed to the strictest standards set forth by the Food and Drug Administration and the Eye Bank Association of America to ensure the highest quality possible and the most optimal result for the recipient.

  • 1

    Penetrating Keratoplasty (PKP) Grafts

We offer standard full-thickness corneal grafts.

  • 2

Descemet's Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK) Grafts

We offer endostromal grafts processed by a microkeratome. DSAEK grafts can be processed to a surgeon’s preferred thickness and may include various orientation marks placed to ensure proper placement of the graft in the recipient's eye. DSAEK grafts may also be trephinated to the desired diameter and preloaded into various transport tubes to facilitate ease of transplant.

  • 3

Descemet's Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK) Grafts

We offer endothelial/Descemet's complex grafts (approximately 15 microns thick) for patients whose own endothelium is no longer functioning properly. DMEK grafts can be processed to any size (5.0mm to 10.0 mm), marked with surgeon-specified orientation markings to ensure proper placement, and placed in one of a variety of transport tubes and containers to suit the surgeon’s preferences for ease of transplant.

  • 4

    Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (ALK) Grafts

We offer partial-thickness corneal grafts for patients who would benefit from them. These grafts can be provided either unprocessed as a regular corneal graft or processed to the surgeon’s specifications using a microkeratome.

  • 5

Corneal Allogenic Intrastromal Ring Segments (CAIRS)

We offer preserved corneal stromal rings for the treatment of keratoconus.

  • 6

    Keratolimbal Allografts (KLAL)

We offer conjunctival grafts containing limbal stem cells for the treatment of corneal surface disorders such as burns and non-healing wounds.

  • 7

    Tectonic (TEC) Grafts

We offer corneal grafts for use in emergencies such as trauma and ulcers.

  • 8

    Scleral Grafts

We offer quarter, half, and whole scleral grafts preserved in high-grade ETOH alcohol for reconstructive and patch surgeries.

  • 8

    Long-Term Preservation

We offer corneal grafts preserved in shelf-stable glycerol for long-term use. These corneal collagenous grafts are widely utilized for glaucoma shunt coverage and have been used globally as an emergency corneal bandage to save an eye when immediate access to temperature-controlled corneal storage is not available.
